FAQ
FAQ
FAQ
What equipment is the Project 5 D-Line Boardbag designed for?
The boardbag is designed as a double boardbag and carries two boards or alternatively one board including the mast base, sail and mast. This makes it suitable for windsurfers with a quiver as well as for traveling with a complete setup.
What sizes are available for the Project 5 D-Line Boardbag?
The boardbag is available in four lengths: 230cm x 63cm, 245cm x 65cm, 248cm x 65cm and 265cm x 69cm. This means you can find the right size for everything from smaller waveboards to large travel and slalom boards.
How well padded is the boardbag?
The padding is 12mm thick and reliably protects your board from impacts during transport by car, on trips or on airplanes. Reinforcements in high-stress areas provide additional stability.
Which features make transport easier?
Sturdy carrying handles at the front and back, a removable shoulder strap and large, lightweight offroad wheels (on most variants) make handling comfortable. The wrap-around zipper allows you to conveniently remove the board from the roof of the car from the rear.
Is the boardbag also suitable for air travel?
Yes, according to the manufacturer, the D-Line boardbag is designed as a travel bag. The reinforced PVC base and side rails stabilize the bag, while the robust construction protects your equipment even during frequent transport and on longer trips.
How does the D-Line boardbag differ from simpler boardbags?
Project 5 does not compromise on the necessary features of a genuine travel bag with the D-Line. These include the 12mm padding, the reinforced PVC base with rails, the offroad wheels on most variants, as well as the wrap-around zipper for convenient loading and unloading.
How do I properly clean and store the boardbag?
Let the boardbag dry after use before storing it to prevent odors and material fatigue. You can wipe away dirt with a damp cloth. Store it in a dry place protected from direct sunlight to keep the material intact in the long term.
Who is the Project 5 D-Line Boardbag worth it for?
The bag is aimed at windsurfers who want to transport their equipment safely, whether on the way to the spot, by car on long trips or on air travel. Thanks to the double boardbag design, surfers with multiple boards or a complete rig particularly benefit from the well-thought-out transport system.
