FAQ
FAQ
What water sports is the ProLimit Shield Free-X FTM 6/4 designed for?
The Shield Free-X FTM 6/4 is designed for foiling, wing foiling, wing surfing, and kitesurfing—disciplines where the board, foil, or mast can strike the body.
What protection does the suit offer in the event of an impact from a foil or board?
Strategically placed Shield zones on the shoulder, chest, and shin absorb impacts from the board, foil, and mast, thereby reducing the risk of injury.
How warm is the ProLimit Shield Free-X FTM 6/4?
With 6/4 mm neoprene thickness and a Zodiac 2 plush Quickdry lining, it keeps you reliably warm during the European autumn and winter seasons as well as in cooler waters.
What neoprene quality and seams are used?
The material is made of Airflex 550+ limestone neoprene, and the seams are GBS-constructed—glued and blind-stitched to minimize water penetration.
How does the Free-X zipper work?
The YKK Free-X horizontal front zip opens wide to the front, making it particularly easy to put on and take off the suit, which provides noticeable comfort, especially with thick winter suits.
What sizes are available for the Shield Free-X FTM 6/4?
The suit is available in several men's sizes from S to XXL, so you can choose the right size for you.
How do you properly care for your ProLimit Shield neoprene suit?
Rinse it out with fresh water after every session, let it dry in the shade, and avoid direct heat and prolonged exposure to sunlight to keep the neoprene, seams, and lining flexible for longer.
