The new Dyno redefines wave riding while maintaining its legendary versatility. With the DNA of Philip Köster's Pyro, we have developed the most user-friendly waveboard that can also be used as a high-speed blasting machine.
The raised nose rocker and refined rail shape ensure confident wave riding without the usual learning curve. Regardless of input level, the Dyno's forgiving nature instills confidence while riding. The new swallow tail provides the necessary drive in turns and prevents the back foot from sinking – important for advanced riders.
Switch from wave to planing in seconds. Configured as a thruster, it attacks waves with predictable precision. If you convert to a single fin, you have a fast freeride board that offers the full-throttle charge usually only found on race-oriented boards.

Who is the Severne Dyno 2025 suitable for?
The Dyno 2025 is a True Freewave board and is aimed at advanced riders who want to ride both in the waves and at high speed. Thanks to its forgiving nature and the DNA of Philip Kösters Pyro, it is also well suited for beginners in the freewave area.
What sizes are available for the Severne Dyno 2025 and which one is right for me?
The Dyno 2025 is available in sizes 85, 95, 105 and 115 liters. As a guideline, Severne recommends size 85 for 60–80 kg, size 95 for 70–90 kg, size 105 for 80–100 kg and size 115 for 90–110 kg rider weight. For detailed advice, we recommend visiting us at our Surfshop Fehmarn.
Which sail fits the Severne Dyno 2025?
Depending on the size, the Dyno covers a sail range from 3.7 m² to 7.5 m². The 85 version rides best with 3.7–6.0 m², the 95 with 4.0–6.5 m², the 105 with 4.2–7.0 m² and the 115 with 4.5–7.5 m².
How does the Dyno 2025 differ from the previous model?
The 2025 Dyno comes with an increased nose rocker, a more precise swallow tail for more drive in the turns, a streamlined rail design for maximum control and a light construction made of pigmented resin with minimal paint application. In addition, the insert positioning has been refined for improved stance.
Can I use the Dyno as both a wave and freeride board?
Yes, the Dyno is extremely versatile. In the thruster setup with three fins, you ride it in the waves or in bump-and-jump conditions with predictable precision. With a single freeride fin and outboard foot straps, you transform it into a pure blasting machine for flat water and high speeds.
Which fins are supplied with the Severne Dyno 2025?
The Dyno is equipped with a medium powerbox and two slotbox+ for the side fins. Depending on the size, thruster fins (2x 125 plus a center fin between 215 and 275) are supplied. Switching between thruster and single-fin setup can thus be done in seconds.
What conditions is the Dyno 2025 made for?
The Dyno is a true all-rounder and works in flat water, choppy water, rolling swell as well as in breaking waves. The recommended wind range is between approximately 15 and 35 knots depending on the size and setup – ideal for the areas on the North and Baltic Seas, but also for larger waves at the spot.
How do I properly care for and transport the Severne Dyno 2025?
The Goretex Air Vent automatically regulates the internal pressure of the board and should not be removed or touched. Severne recommends replacing the vent every three years. For transport, the Severne Lite Shell or Lite Roller board bags in size 230x65 cm fit. Spare parts such as foot straps, screws and vents can be obtained from us in our shop.
