Description
Description
The Nano is compact, allowing it to fit snugly into the pocket of every wave and carve hard. The combination of its parallel outline and channel bottom provides instant acceleration, grip, and tight turning radii.
Sizes 87 and up have been redesigned for earlier planing and higher speed. All Nanos are now exclusively equipped with quad fins, saving the weight of a 5th fin box and optimally complementing the board's characteristics.
Inspired by Tomo's new-school surfboards, the Nano offers a fresh surfing experience.
Its parallel rails mean the width is narrower than a traditional board, giving the feeling of riding a smaller board. The efficiency of the parallel rails ensures you get up and glide as if you were riding a larger board. Originally designed as an onshore board for small waves, the Nano has proven to be so much more.
For 024, the Nano Pro comes with a new, ultra-light construction and a fresh color scheme. The Nano Pro offers lightning-fast responsiveness and high-resolution precision.
The Nano Pro has the lightest available EPS core and features reinforcements in the most demanding areas. Biax carbon on the deck and bottom, combined with carbon composite fin boxes, provides you with this electric responsiveness.
FAQ
FAQ
FAQ
Who is the Severne Nano 3 suitable for?
The Severne Nano 3 is a compact wave board for advanced and pro windsurfers looking for radical turns, fast carves, and direct feedback in the waves. There are much more stable boards available for beginners.
What volumes and sizes are available for the Nano 3?
The Nano 3 is available in volumes of 72, 77, 82, 87, 92, and 102 liters. This covers the range from strong to light wind and makes it ideal as a quiver or one-board quiver.
What is the difference between the Nano 3 and the Nano Pro?
The Nano Pro features a new, ultra-light construction, the lightest available EPS core, biaxial carbon on the deck and bottom, and carbon composite fin boxes. This ensures lightning-fast responsiveness and precise feedback.
What fin setup does the Nano 3 come with?
All Nano 3 boards come exclusively with a quad fin setup. This eliminates the center fin box, saving weight and providing a responsive surfing feel with plenty of grip.
What conditions is the Nano 3 designed for?
Originally designed as an onshore board for small waves, the Nano 3 now works everywhere from onshore bumps to down-the-line waves. The parallel outline and channel bottom provide early planing and tight turning radii.
What sail size is suitable for the Nano 3?
The recommended sail range varies by volume from 3.0 m² on the 72 to 6.7 m² on the 102. This allows the board to be matched to the respective wind strength and rider weight.
How much does the Severne Nano 3 weigh?
Depending on the size, the weight is between approx. 6.0 kg for the Nano 72 and approx. 6.5 kg for the Nano 102. The Nano Pro version is noticeably lighter thanks to the biaxial carbon construction.
Where is the Severne Nano 3 manufactured?
The Nano 3 is developed and built by Severne, an established windsurf manufacturer, with a focus on durability, performance, and modern design. It is part of the current 2024 wave board range.
