FAQ
Who is the Severne Nano 3 suitable for?
The Severne Nano 3 is primarily designed for advanced windsurfers looking for an agile wave board for tight turns and powerful carving. There are significantly more stable boards available for beginners.
What makes the Nano 3's parallel outline special?
The parallel outline reduces drag and increases stability. The reduced width provides a smaller, more maneuverable feel, while the nose has been pulled in to reduce swing weight and speed up response.
What fin setup does the Severne Nano 3 have?
All Nano 3 models come exclusively equipped from the factory with a quad fin setup. This saves weight, as a fifth fin box is eliminated, and perfectly complements the board's characteristics.
How does the Nano 3 accelerate so quickly?
The efficient rocker with a low-drag entry surface gets the board planing even in the lightest breezes. The refined bottom shape with reduced V-double concave noticeably improves acceleration and early planing.
What wave conditions is the board made for?
The Nano 3 is extremely versatile: fast enough for onshore conditions, stable enough for fast down-the-line wall rides, and maneuverable enough for tight pockets in small to medium waves.
What sizes and volumes are available?
The Severne Nano 3 is available in several volumes. The variants range from compact sizes for strong winds to larger volumes such as 102 liters, which still glide controllably in weaker winds.
What distinguishes the Nano 3 from the Nano Pro?
The Nano Pro offers a new, ultra-light construction with biax carbon reinforcements and carbon composite fin boxes for even faster responsiveness – ideal for surfers looking for maximum performance.
How do you properly care for the Severne Nano 3?
The board features an automatic pressure valve that makes travel and transport easier. After surfing in salt water, it is recommended to rinse the board with fresh water and store it protected from direct sunlight.
