Description
Description
The Verso is the fast progression platform for aspiring and advanced intermediates.
Designed to highlight only the performance characteristics critical for progression, the board is a feature packed board with an intuitive feel.
The Verso is specifically designed and extensively tested to aid you in all aspects of freeride windsurfing and is especially good for those wanting to learn all varieties of gybes.
Performance characteristics include; central buoyancy for enhanced stability and control when getting into the harness and straps. A progressive rocker line promotes acceleration for extra early planing and exit speed when gybing. When riding on the rails, you will still experience acceleration to push the limits of your comfort zone.
The most difficult move you will learn on a windsurfer is the gybe. The Verso masters this with a very stable glide, controllable carve and increased exit speed. This board was intentionally designed and proven to assist the rider through the key phases of the turn and build consistency.
The main objective of the Verso is to simplify the technical challenges faced by an advanced windsurfer. Everything is already tuned for you, the specifically designed Verso Powerbox fin is ready to go straight out of the box. The three options for foot strap inserts cover the key stages of your progression and both fin and straps can be quickly adjusted, tuned and positioned with the HEX4 tool (included).
Learn, Burn & Turn!
VERSO COMPARED TO DYNO
The Verso excels in predictability, offering a progressive glide that ensures stability with minimal position adjustments. The Verso is aimed at freeriders who value control and stability, even in challenging conditions. The Dyno is suited for advanced windsurfers venturing into bump & jump and wave sailing.
VERSO COMPARED TO FOX
The Fox is a high-performance Freeride board. The Fox excels in high speeds and stability in choppy conditions. The Verso, the easiest option in the Severne Lineup, emphasizes rider comfort and ultimate stability. The Fox requires more technical skill than the Verso. The Verso maintains stability in larger diameter turns and is less prone to potential missteps. The Fox performs also in tight power gybes but is more sensitive to rider inputs.
TOUGH CONSTRUCTION
Full wood deck and bottom with heavy duty reinforcements. Biaxial glass reinforcements between impact areas, i.e. mast track, nose and heels. Rail Bands add parabolic reinforcements for additional reactivity.
CENTRAL BUOYANCY
Central buoyancy provides stability and progressive acceleration. You stay in control while working your way into the straps and harness.
SIMPLIFIED FOOTSTRAP INSERTS
On the Verso there are only 3 positions: beginner, intermediate and advanced.
CAMO PADS
Flat Camo Pads for greater freedom of movement on the deck.
HEX 4
One tool for everything.
- Fin screw.
- Footstrap mounting.
- Bottle opener.
The HEX4 tool is supplied with every sail and board. Compared to a Philips head screwdriver, the 4mm hex key is a much simpler system for tightening and adjusting footstraps and fins. Only a rotational movement is required rather than downforce + rotation. The wide boomerang provides enough leverage to fully tighten footstraps with a fraction of the effort of a Philips head screwdriver.
POWERBOX VERSO FIN
A custom-made Verso Powerbox fin is included.
