The Blacktip Team Carbon uses a new carbon scrim material whose fibers are precisely aligned along the load paths. The leech is newly constructed with overlapping panels, the foot panel consists of 5 MIL X-Ply with carbon scrim reinforcement. Welded carbon patches replace classic Dacron reinforcements.
How many battens does the Blacktip Team Carbon 2026 have?
The sail is constructed with 4 battens and has a mono window. This configuration ensures direct handling and a light, balanced feel when planing.
What is included with the purchase of the Blacktip Team Carbon 2026?
The sail itself is included in the delivery. The mast, mast base, extension, and base are not included and can be complemented from the Simmer range or your existing RDM setup.
How do I properly care for and store the carbon wave sail?
Rinse the sail with fresh water after contact with salt water, let it dry and roll it up loosely. Store it dry and protected from UV radiation, so that the carbon scrim material and the X-Ply areas remain protected in the long term.
