What does DC mean on the Starboard iGO Deluxe?
DC stands for Deluxe Double Chamber. The board has an additional inner air chamber that significantly stiffens the board and provides you with several liters of additional safety buoyancy.
Is the Starboard iGO Deluxe DC suitable for beginners?
Yes, the iGO series is designed for high stability and easy handling. The wide nose and straight outline ensure a secure feeling while paddling.
How large is the inner safety chamber?
Depending on the board size, the inner chamber provides between 14 and 42 liters of additional buoyancy and is inflated to around 10 PSI, while the main chamber is inflated to up to 18 PSI.
What technology is used in the board?
Starboard uses Woven Dropstitch and Welded Seam Technology. The welded rails make the board lighter, stiffer, and more durable than classic glued iSUPs.
What is included in the delivery?
Re-Cover SUP Board Bag, Starboard Fin, Tiki Pump, lightweight leash, and Repair Kit. Depending on the variant, a SUP paddle is available separately.
How do you carry the iGO Deluxe DC?
With the 2-in-1 Center Carry Strap with Paddle Holder and the EVA-padded Center Handle, you have both hands free; there is also a Tail Carry Handle.
How do you inflate the board?
With the included Tiki Pump or an electric SUP pump. Pay attention to the recommended pressures: main chamber around 15-18 PSI, inner chamber around 10 PSI.
How do I properly care for the iGO Deluxe DC?
After use, rinse with fresh water, let it dry, and store it cool and dry only half-inflated. Small repairs can be done with the included Repair Kit.
