FAQ

What is the Neilpryde Uphaul Rope PRO used for?

The Uphaul Rope PRO is a windsurfing tow rope (start line) that allows you to easily and quickly pull your rig out of the water after a fall or when starting.

What advantages do the foam sections on the handle offer?

The tubular foam sections with an increased diameter ensure a comfortable and secure grip, even with wet or cold hands.

Who is the Uphaul Rope PRO suitable for?

It is suitable for beginners as well as advanced windsurfers, as it is easy to grip and makes handling the rig easier when pulling it out of the water.

Will the rope be annoying while riding?

Neilpryde has designed the PRO version to be less prone to swinging and to fit closely to the mast, so that it does not disturb you while gliding.

In what colors is the Uphaul Rope PRO available?

The Uphaul Rope PRO is available in two bright color options, so that you can easily find it on the water.

Is the Uphaul Rope PRO compatible with all rigs?

It is designed as a universal tow rope for windsurf rigs and is attached to the mast and board, as is customary with tow ropes.

How is the Uphaul Rope PRO attached?

The rope is fixed to the mast like a classic start line and attached to the board, so that it stays taut against the mast while sailing and is immediately ready to use when pulling out of the water.

What should I pay attention to when caring for the tow rope?

Rinse the rope with fresh water after use in salt water and let it dry in the shade, so that the foam and material remain flexible for a long time.
