The new X-Base finally puts an end to the annoying fumbling when mounting and dismounting your baseplate - before and after each session. The painful loosening of an overtightened base with cold, wet hands is a thing of the past.
The X-Base connects to your board via two screws with T-nuts - for a solid, play-free fixation and precise, smooth adjustability, without the risk of slipping. Thanks to the removable Tendon and Pin unit, the base can be detached in seconds. The small screw spacing guarantees full function even on boards with short mast tracks. Our engineers have worked hard to achieve the lowest overall height on the market. The result: an ultra-flat low-profile design that minimizes the gap between sail and board and also takes up less space in the boardbag. "Close the Gap". The rust-free dual U-pin made of stainless steel resists sand, salt, and dirt and allows the base to be separated or joined in seconds. The Tendon-Cup and Pin unit consist of a solid stainless steel component that offers absolute safety even under extreme loads.
A clever detail: In the UXT version, an integrated Torx T30 key is built into the pin head. This means you always have your tool with you. The T-nut screws on the base naturally come with T30 screw heads. Fins, vent screws, or foot straps of all newer JP boards have also been converted to T-30. The Tendon Joint is made of a new high-tech material that is approximately 50% tougher and more durable than conventional black compounds and features an easily replaceable tendon cord and safety rope made of highly tear-resistant UHMWPE.
Available in UXT (compatible with all common pin extensions on the market) and MXT (for all NeilPryde MXT extensions - no more jammed extensions due to sand and salt)

Was ist die NeilPryde X-Base UXT und für wen ist sie gedacht?
Die X-Base UXT ist die neue Mastfuß-Baseplate von NeilPryde für Windsurfer. Sie verbindet dein Board mit dem Mastfuß über zwei T-Nut-Schrauben und erlaubt sekundenschnelles Trennen und Zusammenstecken per Pin – ideal für alle, die ihre Base vor und nach jeder Session unkompliziert montieren wollen.
Wie unterscheidet sich die UXT-Version von der MXT-Version?
Die UXT-Version ist mit allen gängigen Pin-Extensions am Markt kompatibel. Die MXT-Version passt ausschließlich auf NeilPryde MXT-Extensions und verhindert dort das Klemmen durch Sand und Salz.
Welches Werkzeug brauche ich für die Montage der X-Base?
Du brauchst keinen separaten Schlüssel: In der UXT-Variante ist am Pin-Kopf ein integrierter Torx T30-Schlüssel verbaut. Auch die T-Nut-Schrauben an der Base, die Finnen, Lüftungsschrauben und Fußschlaufen der neueren JP-Boards nutzen T30 – ein Tool für alles.
Wie stabil und langlebig ist die X-Base?
Der Dual U-Pin und die Tendon-Cup- bzw. Pin-Einheit sind aus rostfreiem Edelstahl gefertigt und halten Sand, Salz und Schmutz stand. Der Tendon Joint besteht aus einem neuen High-Tech-Compound, das laut Hersteller rund 50 Prozent zäher und langlebiger ist als herkömmliche schwarze Materialien.
Passt die X-Base auf jedes Board?
Der geringe Schraubenabstand ist so gewählt, dass die X-Base auch auf Boards mit kurzer Mastschiene voll funktionsfähig bleibt. Dank des ultraflachen Low-Profile-Designs ist die Aufbauhöhe besonders niedrig, was die Lücke zwischen Segel und Board minimiert und weniger Platz im Boardbag beansprucht.
Wie wird die Tendon-Sehne gewartet oder getauscht?
Die UHMWPE-Sehne samt Safety Rope ist leicht austauschbar. Über die abnehmbare Tendon- und Pin-Einheit kannst du die Sehne bei Verschleiß einfach ersetzen, ohne die gesamte Base demontieren zu müssen.
